Went to Snack Bar last night, located next to Big Bad Breakfast up North Lamar.

The menu has a lot of different options from a steak sandwich to lobster mac and cheese. I had the rainbow trout and it was delicious, topped with some walnuts that really made it perfect.

The wood trim gives the inside of the restaurant a great look.

I recommend Snack Bar anytime

Prime is located at Downtown Oxford Inn and Suites. Just past the square on North Lamar.
Great food and wine selection open Monday -Thursday 5:30-10:00 and Friday-Saturday 5:30-10:30.

Downtown Grill is at 110 Courthouse Square in Oxford, MS.

The grill offers a variety of entrees with some southern influence. Very upscale feeling inside the restaurant and bar area.

City Grocery is located on the square in Oxford, Mississippi. You will probably need reservations on busy nights and will need to book in advance for football game and graduation weekends.

A great menu including shrimp and grits which they are well known for. The food is expensive but worth it.

Ravine is a restaurant and bed and breakfast with a nice quiet atmosphere. The Ravine restaurant is located at 53 County Road 321. To get to Ravine from the square drive 3 miles south on Lamar and bear right at CR 321. You will see the sign about a third of a mile down the road.

Ravine is a fine dining restaurant with great service. This is a brown bag restaurant which means you need to bring your own alcohol including wine. The menu changes often and offers several choices including steak, seafood, and entrees such as duck or lamb. The desserts are some of the best in Oxford and are made in the restaurant.
